eclectic hors d'oeuvres to please your palate. An evening to
participate in live and silent auctions to support children's education.
A relaxing evening after
work to support a resource that has helped kids and their parents for over
45 years.
Join the Sue Duncan Children's Center Foundation Board and Auxiliary Board
at The University Club of Chicago for our annual fundraiser. It's all for the kids!

GOOD TIMES FOR GREAT KIDS
Join the Auxiliary Board of SDCC at Zella on Thursday, June 28, 2007
(7pm-10pm) to kick off summer at one of Chicago's great outdoor spots.
Invite your friends, bring a group, and enjoy a night out in support of a
great cause. Proceeds from the event will go toward aiding inner city
children on Chicago's South Side.
• Enjoy three hours of an open bar, all you can
drink (beer, wine and liquor)
• Hungry? $1 dogs, $2 burgers, and $3 chicken sandwiches

The 2006 Evening of Fine Wine was a relaxing,
after-work event to support a resource that has helped kids and their parents for over
45 years. Thank you to the 250+ people who joined us in support of the Sue Duncan Children's Center. It's all for the kids!

Winter/Spring 2006: ROCK FOR READING, Alice Peacock
Rock for Reading's Alice Peacock, musician and founder of Rock for Reading,
visited the Center several times over the past few months. Rock for Reading,
through raising awareness, funds, and educating the public on the problem of
illiteracy, is working to “fight the rising trend of illiteracy and renew
interest in reading.” The Rock for Reading program has been a generous
supporter of the Center and its work, providing books and grants in 2006 and
2007.

Enjoy
photos of the kids at the game this weekend. With the kids, parents,
tutors, Deloitte and Auxiliary Board folks we had almost 60 people in
attendance!

March 25, 2006: Roller Skating
45 adults, kids and volunteers were out for
a day of roller skating on Saturday, March 25th. Thanks to Christian,
Steve and Whitney for representing the Auxiliary Board,
and thanks to Evan from Deloitte & Touche for his photographic expertise.
