Donate Time by Volunteering
Volunteer tutors are always welcome at the Center. Tutors work one-on-one and in small groups with children of all ages to help complete homework assignments and improve learning in math, reading and writing. Tutors are also welcome to join the children during gym time later in the day. The Center tutors children from 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 1:00 – 6:30 pm on Wednesday to accommodate the shorter school day for many of our area schools. For information on becoming a volunteer tutor at the Sue Duncan Children’s Center, call 773-942-2277, ext. 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
