The Sue Duncan Children’s Center is completely dependent on the generosity of individual, foundation and corporate donors because it does not receive state or federal funding. The Center supports itself entirely through financial donations, with no monetary contribution from the families served. Your charitable donation is tax deductible. After confirming your donation, you may print the receipt on your screen for tax purposes. You will also be e-mailed a receipt. All transactions are processed through a secured website hosted by Events.org.

Volunteer
Volunteer tutors are always welcome at the Center. Tutors work one-on-one and in small groups with children of all ages to help complete homework assignments and improve learning in math, reading and writing. Tutors are also welcome to join the children during gym time later in the day. The Center tutors children from 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 1:00 – 6:30 pm on Wednesday to accommodate the shorter school day for many of our area schools.
