OPPORTUNITY
Sue Duncan has been teaching kids at her South Side Chicago
after-school children's center since 1960. The Children's Center focuses
on addressing the educational and social issues that inner-city kids
face, but not without Sue's own unique style of teaching.
Thanks to our generous donors, life at the Center continues to thrive!
On a daily basis, children receive one-on-one tutoring, participate
in educational group discussions on a variety of topics, receive a nutritious
meal, and enjoy recreational activities.
The proceeds from this event will support the daily operations of the
privately-funded Children's Center and provide scholarships for selected
students.
